1. John Summit opens for the Chicago Cubs before elimination playoff game - set on the footsteps of the iconic Wrigley Field baseball stadium, the hometown DJ threw down a bender of a performance to get the people fired north. It worked because the Cubs have now forced a game 5 in their best of 5 series.

   

2. Tiesto designs a limited edition soccer jersey for his hometown team - a once aspiring football player (as the non Americans call it), Tiesto partnered with his hometown club of NAC Breda, in the Netherlands, and designed an all-black, sleek looking 3rd jersey kit. Personally, all-black jerseys can be cool but this thing just looks like a black t-shirt. Tiesto bro you had so limitlessoptions and you chose this??? Fun fact, Hardwell is from the same town as Tiesto… something must be in the water.

   

3. Spotify has been quietly removing tens of millions of tracks they deem AI slop with updated anti-spam policies - the Swedish music giant revealed it's been secretly deleting AI songs that deliberately mimic an artist’s voice without consent. New guidelines explicitly prohibit these actions and the company is working with distributors to prevent lazy scammers from sneaking AI-generated songs onto legitimate major artists profiles like we've already seen.

Tame Impala moves closer into the DJ world with a secret solo set for exclusive Cercle series - one-night-only set this Friday, October 10th, Tame Impala is performing a limited capacity venue at a secret location near Mexico City. Set to promote his new upcoming album, the themes of his show are anticipated to be a raw, club-psych, future-primitive experience rooted in Australian rave culture.
