Carpe That DM 😈 - If you're an artist on TikTok, this new feature might be really important for you to start using...

Oh hey, how are ya - it’s Fourth Co.

Everyday, about 150,000 new songs are released to the world.

That means, there’s been over 12 tracks released since a booth bunny requested that Disco Lines remix of No Broke Boys.

Only a handful of those deserve your attention, so let’s pitter patter…

Steal This - my most played song this week (probablyšŸ‘‡):

Notable News - 4 things āœ…:

  1. TikTok for Artists insights platform just dropped for music - just like Spotify and Apple Music, artists, labels, and their teams will have much better control and data with their music on the Chinese-owned brain rot (but also kind of hype ngl šŸ‘€) social media app. My TikTok engagement is laughable for a guy with like 20K IG followers, but I will still definitely be exploring this app like a doctor giving geriatrics rectal exams.

  2. Ableton Live 12.2 released and it still can’t make bangers for me - the new update brings subtle but extremely powerful work flow upgrades to the objectively, categorically, scientifically proven greatest DAW of all time. Ableton did a little pre-release party again at Spybar in Chicago with a demo and then a very Chicago-esque after party to celebrate that I got to DJ at. Shoutout to my boy KWAL for putting me on—we went b2b for pretty much the entire night. It felt as natural as as drinking an espresso martini on a rooftop patio late-June in Chicago. Cmon now, it doesn’t get much better than that eh.

  3. Redbull is fueling up motor city with some dancing wings - the energy drink titan is bringing its ā€˜B2B’ electronic music event to Detroit, July 11th. It’ll showcase DJs going ā€˜back-to-back’ (which is what B2B stands for for anybody who doesn’t already know—awks if you didn’t—but now you do). There will also be a bunch of lil side quests going on with opportunities to celebrate the history and birth place of techno. I love Redbull for always doing cool shit like this. However, this graphic below is looking very Y2K lazy AI, I’m not liking it at all.

  4. Kaskade announces daytime raves across the US and Canada - called ā€œRedux,ā€ he’s evolving from his previous ā€œUnduxā€ rave series which only took place in disorienting, dark nightclubs, late at night. These shows will be all about ā€œremoving the sensory overdrive that has become the calling card of stage production for electronic music.ā€ Finally, a time traveling 1800s pilgrim will be able to understand EDM if they were to land at one of these au naturale, outdoor, mid-day Kaskade raves. Night clubs freak me out anyways (and I’m literally a DJ).

Quaint Quote of the Week āœļø:

ā€œKaskade on the potential geographic influence music may have had on himā€

Need help preventing a hangover after a late night Bender?

We’ve all been there—the morning after a night out, when the fun catches up, and the hangiexty sets in. Your head’s in a boxing match and your stomach’s swirling around like a hot jacuzzi. You told yourself just ā€œ1 drink tonightā€ and all of the sudden you’re in some random kitchen at 4am šŸ’€

Hangover’s hit hard… and they hit even harder when you get older. So why are you still doing NOTHING about it??

The cure: that’s where the Bender Extender comes inšŸ‘‡

Your hangover’s worst enemy: it’s packed with natural liver loving vitamins & minerals, Mother Earth’s green ingredients, and activated charcoal to accelerate the detoxification process of removing alcohol’s deadly toxins from your body.

This stuff will literally revive you, so act wisely!

⚔Best way to take the Bender Extender:

  1. Take both capsules with a cup of water

  2. Chug some water after boozing it all night

  3. Wake up feeling pretty damn good

  4. Go on with your day... or be a degenerate like me and extend your bender

Try it out with the link below (but don’t wait too long), summer’s already herešŸ‘‡šŸ‘‡

Still rawdogging your hearing without Earplugs at live shows?

Have you heard (pun intended)… Martin Garrix and Alesso both suffer from significant hearing loss (aka Tinnitus).

The solution: buy some half decent ear plugs and save your hearing!

I’ve used Eargasm’s Earplugs for 2.5 years while DJing for hundreds of hours.
