Carpe That DM š - Miami Music Week Edition: the place where parties live forever

Oh hey, how are ya - itās Fourth Co.
Everyday, about 150,000 new songs are released to the world.
That means, thereās been over 9 tracks released since Deadmau5 has complained about literally nothing before trolling millions of people.
Only a handful of those deserve your attention, so letās pitter patterā¦
Steal This - my most played song this week (probablyš):
Why it gets me going - the instant nostalgia paired with the fruity chord progression and groovy bass line sets the vibe for this beachy summer vibes track. There really is no melody or hook⦠just the iconic lyrics covered by AI vocals (yes, you read that right) that linger in your head, long after the music stops. Itās my own song that just dropped last Friday. So if you like it, let me know. And if you hate it, also let me know š
Notable News - 4 things ā :
Miami Music Week reaffirms itself as one the best benders of year - truthfully, I didnāt go to sleep before 6am every night I was there. The people you meet, the famous people you party with, the core memories unlocked with friends (new and old), and the adventures you find yourself in are only possible during Miami Music Week. Iām so grateful that I was able to be a part of it again this year. I even got to DJ my first ever Miami set thanks to my boy, Vozz!
The EDM Awards was shut down by Police, but that didnāt mean the party stopped - held at the Nobu Eden Roc Hotel, the next door neighbors, Fontainebleau, apparently complained about the noise coming from the EDMAs outdoor pool party stage during the day. But rest assured, the party moved indoors to the massive open concept lobby with a circular bar at the center. From the words of Borat, the 2-day event turned out to be a āgreat success!ā
Danny Tenaglia announces 2025 will be his 50th year DJing - the now-living legend accredits his longevity to quitting drinking and smoking when he first moved to Miami from Brooklyn in 1985. He spoke at the Miami Winter Conference alongside the Queen of Techno, Nicole Moudaber, and told never-before heard stories of his storied career and life behind the decks for a lucky crowd, which included myself.
āFourth Co. sporting a very patriotic fit (even though heās not even American) with the literal living-legend, Danny Tenaglia.ā
Factory Town continues to prove that the underground sound is officially mainstream - the abandoned 1940s mattress warehouse has transformed into a mini-festival grounds, offering a very raw and but highly polished underground house and techno alternative to the glitzy, Ultra. With each label and artist collective transforming their stage areas to their brand and sound, I like to think of the distinction of Ultra versus Factory Town to that of a Marvel Avengers movie versus a Christopher Nolan Batman film. If youāve raved there before, then you'd know exactly what I mean.
Quaint Quote of the Week:

āOne third of Swedish House Mafia, Axwell boasts about the unrivaled party scene of Miamiā
For the record, I think DJ Susan and the Hood Politics squad threw down the best party of the week at 1-800 Lucky. It was electric all night!

Need Earplugs?
Have you heard (pun intended)⦠Martin Garrix and Alesso both suffer from significant hearing loss (aka Tinnitus).
The solution: buy some half decent ear plugs and save your hearing!
Iāve used Eargasmās Earplugs for 2.5 years while DJing for hundreds of hours.
