Oh hey, how are ya - itās Fourth Co.
Everyday, about 150,000 new songs are released to the world.
That means, thereās been over 11,100,000 tracks released since FISHER revealed he can still grow a full head of hair.
Only a handful of those deserve your attention, so letās pitter patterā¦
Steal This - my most played song this week (probablyš):
Why it gets me going - my own shameless plug, and inspired by FISHER doing what does best, entertaining people with house music. Other than the 2 pre-drop vocal linesāāthereās a fish in the houseā and āswallow them kids like a gold fishāāIāll let the music do itās own talking. Enjoy!
Notable News - 4 things ā :
John Summit tries to undo his f*ckboi DJ status - wrapping up his India tour, he apparently didnāt drink the entire trip. To be honest, this is incredibly admirable. Especially coming from the guy who once said on the Nelk Boys podcast that he always ātakes a swig of tequilaā right before he goes on to perform. Glad to hear heās finally taking his drinking longevity more seriously.
Breaking Development: Tiesto & Afrojackās lawyer required to pay $28 million to IRS in offshore fraud case - the lawyer, who was sentenced to 30 months in jail for concealing the high profile DJsā earnings in offshore accounts, now claims he was directed to do by his clients. The lawyer also went on to say that Tiesto and Afrojack should be the ones reimbursing the IRS, not him. It been revealed that heās hide up to $70 million USD in illegal accounts for his clients. Typical lawyer activities.
Calvin Harris to his fans: ābaby lock them doors and turn the lights down lowā - teasing his followers on Instagram as Country Calvin, heās back with singing his own original vocals. Looks like heās going full Avicii and bridging the gap between electronic and country music. This is clearly a passion project he felt the need to put out to the world. Iāll be waiting to hear more.
Mini Spheres may be dropping in a city near you - the company that has created the original Vegas Sphere is looking to expand their live experience to new locations with several smaller āmini-Spheres.ā At 25% capacity to the original venue, the smaller locations would seat around 5,000 people, ultimately making it more affordable and sustainable for both artists and audiences.
Quaint Quote of the Week:
